Cleveland Clinic Employee Wellness has partnered with Shape Up the Nation since 2009 to provide Shape Up & Go!™ (name trademarked by Cleveland Clinic) to 43,000 Cleveland Clinic employees in Northeast Ohio, Florida, Las Vegas and Canada.  This team-based wellness program encourages employees to join together to be more active, eat better and improve their health. In the program, employees form teams and compete to walk the most number of steps, lose the most weight and/ or exercise the greatest number of minutes.  Over 18,299 unique users have taken part in the 7 program sessions to date.   Shape Up & Go! supports the Employee Wellness vision of providing convenient, affordable access to wellness programs for all employees throughout the Cleveland Clinic Health System as well as meeting the Employee Wellness mission of “helping employees achieve optimal well being to enhance the quality of life and better serve patients.”
