Childhood Obesity
Childhood Obesity is a major problem among many Americans in the United States. The question is what should we do about it. Children are in school at least nine hours a day. Children need at least 1 hour of Physical Education daily. Let's vote on putting Physical Education back into the schools. This should be mandatory. In order for children to perform their best, they must be healthy. Let's vote on putting Physical Education back into schools on a daily basis.

I absolutely agree with you. Even if they didn't have a "phys ed " class per se every day there are many things teachers can do to give the children activity breaks. An interesting book about how our brain actually learns is called "Brain Rules" and exercise is absolutely essential for learning. So the activity would help not only for eliminating childhood obesity but also woudl improve learning!
